An event for the over 50 crowd (that's ME)

While so many of the events that I attend are either geared to younger women (and men) or at the very least a MIX of ages (which I actually prefer), it is nice to socialize, learn and enjoy those in the same age group as myself. There's nothing like being in a group that you identify with. Yes, I'll still be heading to BlogHer and the Disney Social Media Moms Conferences and I LOVE connecting with my fellow bloggers and writers, but every now and then I need to enjoy the company of people my own age.

I was pleased to learn that AARP is presenting the Orlando@50+ from September 30 - October 2, 2010 in nearby Orlando (just a mear 2-3 hours away from the Mansion). At only $25 a ticket ($35 if you're NOT an AARP member), you'll get to experience some GREAT entertainment, speakers and activities with those of our OWN age.
