It's time to take a break -

Living the good life for less can be fabulous on your wallet but tough on the hips. Dining out, going to exclusive events and even those rich dinners at home can be murder on the hips (and stomach, thighs, arms, etc.). I spend SO much time on my computer lately that I seem to have neglected the gym.

What's a girl (or guy) to do? I want to LOOK as fabulous as I LIVE!!! I have the BEST of intentions when it comes to starting an exercise program, but intentions DON'T take off the pounds.

Luckily, I was contacted by Break Pal to review their new workout program that's specifically designed for those of us who work at our computers - whether at home, in the office or on the road. I've got to tell you that - THIS DIVA'S BACK ON TRACK!

Break Pal is this GREAT WIDGET that you download onto your computer. It reminds you to exercise at intervals that you set (I have mine set at every half hour). You can choose from yoga, chair exercises, stretching, walking and more. The exercises last 2-5 minutes which are JUST enough to clear your head a little, get rid of the tension and give you up to a 45 minute workout by the end of the workday. In all honesty, I get about a half hour workout from it right now....but as I get stronger, I plan on decreasing the time in between exercises so that I can fit more in each day. I found some of the exercises to be very easy, while some were a bit more challenging, and by the end of the day, I've had a total workout.

The subscription fee for Break Pal is only $9.95 a month - cheaper than the gym and you WON'T be wasting your membership because it's like the gym coming to YOU. If you work in an office and are afraid that people are going to look at you "funny", don't worry - there are plenty of chair exercises.

Liz Weaver - YOUR instructor offers clear instructions and demonstrates proper technique. It's like having your own personal trainer with you ALL DAY.

If you're the competitive type, there's a point system so you can try to outdo your competition. There's even a social networking aspect to Break Pal, because as you know it's MUCH easier to exercise with a buddy.

To say that we live in a hectic, stressful world is beyond stating the obvious. Competition is fierce and with such high competition for jobs these days, being at your best is essential. However it's been shown recently that being overly focused and obsessive about getting projects done can be entirely counter productive. It may be a bit on the counter-intuitive side and maybe even difficult for those who consider themselves to be very hard workers to do. But stepping back from your work for a few minutes may just get the job done faster and better. - Phil Weaver CEO of Break Pal

Break Pal is offering a FREE TRIAL so that you can see if you can try it out before subscribing. I might be able to fit into that Valentino gown in time for the next Charity Ball season at this rate.
