While I no longer fit the demographic of stay at home mom...I still worry about my kid. 20-somethings bring sleepless nights (worrying), waiting for calls saying they're okay, and problems that are more expensive. I'm sure that my dad felt that way about me even though I'm 50-something. I still need a glass of MommyJuice in the evening (the difference is that my child can now join me).
Last night I uncorked a bottle of MommyJuice Red. I had made a big pot of beef stew and it was calling out for some good hearty wine. I had NO IDEA what to expect from a wine called MommyJuice, but what I got was a pleasant surprise. This full bodied table wine absolutely HIT THE SPOT. It would be a perfect addition to a nice Italian or hearty winter dinner. It's got a deep berry finish, that sat on the tongue for a minute. This is just the type of wine that I REALLY enjoy. It's robust flavor satisfied my craving for a good solid red wine.
MommyJuice Wines was founded by Cheryl Murphy Durzy, a mom of 2 and 10+ year veteran of the wine industry in Sales and Marketing at Clos LaChance Wines. These wines were inspired by her young children that point to wine glasses everywhere claiming “That’s Mommy’s Juice!” Her vision includes balanced, fruit-forward wines that bring just a bit of peace after the chaos of everyday life as a parent.
This is a wine that it's in the $10 price range, that you could easily serve to guests. Of course, it's a great wine to enjoy as you relax at the end of the day as well....I mean, it is MOMMYJUICE.
