I knew that this week's delivery of Aquafina Flavor Splash water was going to be my last, and I also knew in advance (by deduction) what the flavor would be. I have to say that I was prepared to dislike it. Peach Mango just doesn't sound like a flavor that I'd like. It's not that I don't like peach or mango... I DO. But, I never liked them in a drink format (even if alcohol was involved).
I was actually surprised at the flavor. It was more peach than mango. I had expected to be faced with the flavor of canned peaches, you know....that overly sweet taste. Instead what I got, was the taste of fresh, ripe, juicy peach. It was a pleasant surprise.
Still, maybe I'm a bit more traditional with my drink flavors. I have to say that while it was MUCH BETTER than I could have ever expected, it was not among my favorites.
This was a FUN project and I learned that I am now comfortable substituting the soda that I was guzzling with a flavorful water product. Looking back over the past 6 weeks I can see that I went from drinking 3 cans of diet soda a day to maybe 1 or 2 PER WEEK. That's QUITE an improvement.
Overall, I'd say that for ME this was a PERSONALLY successful campaign and I want to thank Aquafina for helping me to KICK my habit!
