SHOPPING ~ this & that

Twenty-eight years ago, I got married. And like every other bride I chose my china pattern very carefully. Mine was by Fitz & Floyd and I have to say that I love it as much today as I did when I first picked it out. Unfortunately, Fitz & Floyd no longer manufactures the pattern (and thankfully I still have what I'd consider to be a complete set). They put their dinnerware on the back burner to concentrate on their artsy type china. I've always found their china to be whimsical and they have some rather unusual pieces.

While doing a little cruising around the Internet today, I found that not only do they sell online, but there is a Fitz & Floyd Outlet where I saw pieces listed for up to 75% off. What amazed me was that a lot of their retired Holiday pieces are in the outlet, just in time for holiday shopping. Just don't spend all of your money there, because I have plenty more ways to enhance your lifestyle by spending less and enjoying more.

If you're not a member of one of the BIG Warehouse stores yet (because that $35-$50 fee is too much to spend), Sam's Club has a special 10 week membership for $10 right now. The advertisement I received said that it ends THIS weekend, so if you want to do some Holiday shopping at Sam's, but don't want to shell out the extra $40, rush over there to join TODAY!
