Be still my heart - Orlando to Paris?

Since moving from the northeast where it was easy to grab a flight out of Boston or one of the New York airports direct to Paris, I've had to trek all the way to Miami each time I had to fly to my home away from home. BUT NOT ANYMORE!

AirFrance has announced that it will be flying from Orlando to Charles de Gaulle, with non-stop flights leaving on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Beginning June 7 overnight flights will leave ~

  • Orlando - Paris CDG (AF693): departs at 8:45 PM – arrives at 11:10 AM
  • Paris CDG - Orlando (AF694): departs at 1:45 PM – arrives at 5:05 PM

They're offering one way tickets starting at $599 for the Premium Voyager  (which is equivalent to business class in the US). I had planned to go in June (meeting up with family and friends), they're now saying that we'll go next October. I'm guessing that with these new flights leaving MCO, that I'll be going once more between now and October.
