If you're a fan of country music (and even if you're NOT) - Toby Keith will be performing at the Academy of Country Music Awards Sunday, April 18 at 7 PM Central/8 PM Eastern to benefit Stand Up to Cancer and Lifting Lives (the charity of the ACM). Toby will be performing his song “Cryin’ for Me (Wayman’s Song)” live on the ACMs as a tribute to his friend, Wayman Tisdale, who passed away on May 15, 2009 due to complications from bone cancer.
Please join me and support raising awareness of Toby’s tribute to Wayman on the ACMs on April 18, 2010, as well as of the Stand Up to Cancer team that Toby has created to raise funding for cancer research in Wayman’s honor. Team Toby for Wayman, as a SU2C team, is a way for fans and everyone with a common interest or stake in the fight against cancer to rally as a collective force. By joining together, we can make a huge difference.
