That's right. I was lucky enough to be able to try out some NEW hair, skin and body products by
This may be the first your hearing of them, but it certainly won't be the last.
mirra is a new line of skin and hair care product that are exclusively available at Kroger. That's right - not Nordstrom, not Saks, but KROGER! If you LOVE using natural ingredients coupled with technologies that actually WORK, you're going to love this new line.
I was sent a sampling from their line and I found them to be of a quality MUCH higher than I would expect from a grocery store brand. Made with ingredients like olive oil, cranberry, bamboo, honey, aloe and chicory root extracts as well as oleosome (an emulsion technology is used in skin care products) to deliver long lasting moisture that keeps protecting and nourishing skin long after application.
Here's my take on each of the products that I received
Daily mirra Smoothing Shampoo & Conditioner - As with all of the product in this line. It is the smell that is DIVINE. There's something luxurious about products that you use on your hair and body that smell clean and fresh. Infused with aloe extract, wheat and soy protein, these daily hair products are good for those with normal hair. My only concern was that I have EXTREMELY dry hair that is colored (gotta keep the gray away). I find that these weren't quite as hydrating as I would have liked.
Daily mirra Strong Sculpting Gel - I'm not usually a gel user. My hair is very short and I don't spike it. I tried the gel and it DID hold my bangs in place (I went for a wispy look). The smell complements the shampoo and conditioner (so you don't smell like a fruit stand) and the chitosan, aloe and red tea leaf extract keep it natural.
Renew mirra Replenishing Body Wash - OMG - as Rachel Zoe says "I DIED." Not only is this body wash delicious smelling, but it is SO emolliant with itls bamboo and honey extracts. This was my FAVORITE product by mirra. My skin felt so soft after using it.
Renew mirra Exfoliating nd Detoxifying cleanser - Filled with apricot and oxygenated derma-beads this is an exfoliating cleanser that's not harsh on the skin. Luxurious and creamy with JUST the right amount of beads to get rid of dead skin, I was left with only needing a light moisturizer following it.
Renew mirra Replenishing Lotion - This light body lotion with bamboo & honey extracts (andd oleosomes) nourishes your skin with a slightly sweet fragrance. Perfect for just having stepped out of the shower.
Renew mirra Hydrating Night Treatment - I don't know, there was something about the scent of this product that was familiar (but I can't put my finger on it). It's a VERY rich cream that's perfect for aging skin like mine. I've been using it over my fine lines and wrinkles - we'll see what happens.
Overall, I was impressed with this line of products. The quality seemed to be much more than what I'd expect from a lower priced product.
If you'd like to try these products, Kroger is offering $5.00 off when you buy any two products. PLUS one Champagne Living reader will win a collection of these hair, body and skin products of their own.
Thank you to the Kroger Company as well as the Global Influence Network for providing these products for my beauty review and giveaway. I was in no way compensated for this post and all opinions are strictly my own.
