The Golden Globes Stars that Shined

As always, this year's Golden Globe's were amass of beautiful celebrities in amazing outfits. They each looked impeccable as they walked the Red Carpet. As much fun as it is to watch, it's just as much fun to try to recreate some of the looks for yourself.

Beauty Expert and Celebrity Makeup Artist, AJ Crimson shares some of his FAVORITE looks from THIS YEAR'S Golden Globes, as well as ways to achieve the same looks yourself.


Julianna Margulies (WINNER)
Natural and fresh skin, slightly defined corners of the eye make a beautiful doe eye shape in soft taupe and gold accentuated corner lashes with a subtle cheek rose color

To Get the Look -
  1. Use water based foundation to get a clean barely-there application. 
  2. On the outer corner of the eye, slightly define at the lash line into the crease. 
  3. Use a soft brown shadow such as #98 by Makeup Forever or Taupe by MAC. 
  4. Define the lash line with aqua black waterproof cream eyeliner, adding faux lashes on the outer corners and coat with SmashBox DNA LASH mascara

Zoe Saldana

To Get the Look -
  1. Deep liner! Rim the entire eye with SMOLDER eye kohl by MAC
  2. Soften and set to prevent edges from running
  3. Nars eye shadow in Sofia

Cameron Diaz

To Get the Look - 
  1. Deep Red Lip
  2. Slightly lined eye in coal
  3. New trick instead of lipstick try lip liner! Try Makeup Forever liner in #08
  4. Top with clear lip gloss for shine or leave matte

Kristen Bell
The Peach cheek
Nothing says spring like full blushy cheeks

To Get the Look -
  1. Nothing says spring like full blushy cheeks.

January Jones
Continuing the spring trend for red lips
To Get the Look - 
  1. Use Neutrogena moisture shine lipstick in Poppy Red

Kate Hudson
I loved Kate Hudson's look.
She looked stunning and classic.
It was all about bronze cheek and nude lip this Spring.



To Get the Look -
  1. SmashBox photo finish lipstick in MAGNIFICENT
  2. Honesty by Kissable Couture on top for shine
  3. We loved the hair softly pulled back 
  4. Guerlain Bronzer (Sephora.com) for the cheeks

Anna Kendrick
New comer - looked stunning with a soft smoky gray eye and heavy liner.

Get the Look -
  1. Lightly applied Lili Marlene cream shadow by Nars all over the lid into the crease. 
  2. Set with a light sweep of #31 shadow by Makeup Forever.
  3. Finish the look with Boot black eyeliner by MAC
  4. Covergirl Lash blast Mascara!

Christina Hendricks
Rosy cheek, classic Red lips, black liner with heavy mascara

Get the Look - 
  1. Try Amour by Nars Shu Umera eye pen in black
  2. DIORShow mascara.
  3. Try adding some faux lashes for added drama! VERY MAD MEN!

Jane Krakowski
Gorgeous purple gown, flawless makeup

Get the Look - 
  1. Defined crease. 
  2. Lots of mascara
  3. Soft peach cheek pink lip.
  4. To achieve this look try Taupe eye shadow by MAC. 
  5. Smudge Teddy Kohl liner at the lash line also by MAC
  6. Aqua black waterproof liner by Makeup For Ever.


MO’NIQUE
Oh so radiant. Very beautiful defined doe eye, bronze golden skin, soft brown eye. This look was just great placement.

  2. Soft brown eye shadow by Makeup Forever..
