Hey, Joey is that your mother calling you?

I want to wish Mother Earth a VERY Happy Day today.

I spent yesterday thinking about the things that we do at the mansion to reduce, reuse and recycle. However, there is still so much more that we could be doing. From the simplest acts of bringing our own bags to the store to driving a hybrid, our family and staff have made a conscious effort to help sustain our planet, but we haven't even scratched the surface of what we could be doing. How are we to help provide the good life for our children and grandchildren if we don't DO SOMETHING NOW??

If you just bring your own reusable bags each time you went shopping
you will reduce your CO2 emissions a total of 6 lbs by the end of one month. Imagine if we ALL did this?
JOEY TOTES

As you know from some of my previous posts, I actually need to stuff my tote bags into my handbag in order to REMEMBER to bring them into the store. BUT WHAT IF I NEED MORE THAN ONE TOTE BAG?

Joey Totes come in different sizes for different needs and they fit INSIDE of each other. I have 2 small Joey Totes and 1 large one, all three fit into the large pouch. Now I'll NEVER forget to bring them with me (which means I won't be leaving my cart in the store with the ice cream melting to go back to the car & get my bags).

  • Joey Totes are attractive, durable, high quality bags that can save the use of thousands of disposable bags over its lifetime.
  • Joey totes were created to carry several bags at once.
  • Each bag collapses into an oversized pouch sewn into the inside seam of each bag.
  • Each pouch is designed to carry more than one bag so you can build your own set.
  • Made from ripstop nylon, each bag is reinforced with double-folded handles that are tough enough to carry 40 lbs.
  • If you ever need to replace your bags, Joey Totes will recycle them for you!!!!
I LOVE the concept of the Joey Totes, the only thing I had to get used to was, turning them inside out and tucking the bags back into the little pockets.

In celebration of Earth Day JOEY TOTES is offering Champagne Living's readers 10% off of all Joey Totes and Tote Sets through May 31, 2009. . When you get to the checkout page, simply type in
