I have always been pretty thrify and recycled. An old lady friend in Florida got me recycling and composting when I was first married. She was originally from Maine - those thriftiest of folks.I do things like buy 20 pounds of chicken breasts when they are on sale for $1.99/pound. Then I bag them up in Ziplocs 4 breasts to a bag. This way I save money and avoid putting all that packaging in the trash (although I do recycle most of it.)I also take my magazines to the recycling center after I read them and my shredded office paper. We have curbside reycling for everything else (glass, plastic, aluminum, steel, newspaper, cardboard, etc.) which is really nice.I live on just over an acre with lots of bird friends. They would be delighted to have another feeder to fight over. Thanks for having the giveaway.
I was overwhelmed with the response that this first giveaway received (there were 158 entries) and as a result, there will be more giveaways to come.
Please check back often to see what we'll be giving away in our next sweepstakes.

Hooray, hooray! I am so excited. I was just eating lunch and watching the little birds and the cardinal at the feeder before I checked my email. Now they will have something to eat out of besides a pan on the ground. Yipee for them!
Thanks again!
