This is the time of year when most of my friends are ready to take their big trips into New York City to do their holiday shopping. If you've been dying to go, but into the city is a bit beyond your bank account, then you haven't been keeping up on the latest trends motorcoach travel. It used to be that the Chinatown busses were the least expensive way to travel from Boston to New York. In the past few years the competition has widened with new bus companies and better pricing, with some routes costing as low as $1 plus booking fee (you read it right...ONE DOLLAR). The earlier you book, the better chance you have of scoring one of these great low cost trips. On
Bolt Bus there is even free WiFi (so you can keep up with the latest on Champagne Living) and an overhead screen to watch those DVDs that you brought from home.
Dining doesn't have to break the budget once you get there. The 2008 Cheap Eats Guide at
Cheap Eatscan help you find the best for the least!! But,
since you've saved so much $$$$ on your transportation, you could SPLURGE a little. Check out
Travels in Taste for the best of the best. Lisa has posted photos, reviews and interviews with some of the TOP restaurants in the industry.
