It's that time of year again - Lysol time

I spent this morning chatting on Skype with some of my friends from Collective Bias, as I do each morning. It's always fun to connect that way since we're all spread out around the country. The talk this morning? Winter colds and flu. It seems that quite a few of my friends were heading out to events and they have colds. My guess is that with the kids in school, the germs are arriving home at an alarming pace.

So, what can be done to help?

At the mansion we always make sure to keep Lysol around. Even though we're way PAST those school days, our friends have children who are bringing germs home from their schools and they get passed around and around.

To make things easier, Lysol has created the Lysol Mission for Health.  Focusing on giving information to parents, children, and educators about protecting oneself against germs, the Lysol Mission for Health site helps you learn about how Lysol’s products can help during the cold and flu season. Not only that, but they have special offers that are JUST for you.

In addition, Lysol has also reached out to schools and is holding a Lysol Blue Ribbon Attendance Challenge, a Healthy Hero Contest, and Hand Washing Song Contest. $75,000 worth of gifts and prizes will be given to winners. Insanely cute videos of kids singing songs about hygiene to come next month.

On the Mission for Health site, there are tips for new moms on keeping themselves germ free for their babies, and  even a section wehre you can submit tips on how you keep you and your family safe from everyday germs.

Learn the BEST ways to stay germ-free this coming season.

chools: The increased spread of germs combined with schools cutting budgets, Lysol knew this should be a focus. So to empower families, they developed a program designed to teach healthy habits and increase school attendance (aka less sick days!)

Disaster Relief: Lysol has partnered with Save the Children®, a non-profit disaster relief organization, to support the needs of families whose health and safety are impacted during a natural disaster

Moms: Moms will be provided with educational resources about how to keep mom and infant healthy with information available.

What are you waiting for? Lysol's Mission for Health and Champagne Living are giving you the opportunity to win a $25 gift card to purchase Lysol products to keep your home germ free this season. Simply to to

Mission for Health and come back here to enter.

I received a gift card to purchase Lysol products for this review. All opinions are strictly my own.
