To encourage you to do your civic duty, there are restaurants willing to give you FREE FOOD today. All you have to do is show them that sticker that states "I VOTED" that they give you when you're leaving your polling place.

* Ben & Jerry's will give you a Free Scoop between 5-8 PM tonight.
* Krispy Kreme Doughnuts has baked some special Star-Shaped patriotic doughnuts & you can get one for showing them your "I Voted" sticker.
* Eli's Cheesecakes in Chicago will give you a free slice of Chicago's favorite dessert, simply by presenting your voting receipt at Eli's Cheesecake World, 6701 W. Forest Preserve Drive. If you don't live in Chicago, you can get a free 6" Original Plain Cheesecake with the purchase of one Eli's 9" Original Plain or Chocolate Chip Cheesecake at Eli's Cheesecake
* Shanes Rib Shack will give you a free 3 pc chicken tenders, fries, & drink. Must present an "I voted" sticker. Particpating locations only.
* Planning on going book shopping after you pull the lever? Books a Million will give you a cup of coffee FREE.
* SOME of the Chick-Fil-A stores have this promo going on - Election Day Free Chicken Sandwich on Nov.4 and Nov.5 (not all locations are participating - but, I noticed that a LOT of them are, so you might want to check with them BEFORE ordering).

ONE MORE INTERESTING ONE - You can get a FLU SHOT today as well. There are many Vote & Vax clinics being scheduled all over the country. Take a look at their website & see if there's one near you.
