It seems like every day there's a new way to connect via social media. First it was MySpace and Facebook, then groups, nings and twitter. Each has it's own place for making connections whether it be social, business or a combination.Gather.com is one of those sites that incorporates some of the BEST features and pulls them into one easy to use networking site. Although I was asked by MomCentral to be a part of this blog tour, the truth is that I've been a member of Gather.com for over a year now. I wanted to connect with other travelers, to learn about the little "in spots" before I head out on my yearly visit to Paris.
What I hadn't noticed is how Gather.com has grown. I was thrilled to find that there are groups for the things that I do like -

Gather allows me to have conversations with people who share the same interests that I do. It's so diverse, that I'm certain that you'll have no trouble finding other people who share your passion for your favorite things.
You can also EARN money and prizes by "gathering" points for the content you contribute to the site, which can be redeemed for gift cards to stores like Home Depot, Gap, and Target, and even for PayPal cash. The more recipes, tips, stories and advice you share with others in the community, the more points you earn.
